13-14/12: International Youth Camp, this year is the turn for Slovakia

The 3rd International Youth Camp will celebrate his 3rd edition in Stbske Pleso, in the Slovakian Tatras. After 2 years in Praxmar (Austria), this year is the turn of SSA, the Slovak Skimountaineering Association.

The successful camp for young athletes from 12 to 20 years is one of the most important events in Central Europe to support the young athletes. The camp is a combination of competition and training, all organized in a very friendly atmosphere. The main goal is to push young athletes to get into ski mountaineering.
The 2 past camps had already a big success. Over 50 young athletes attended the camp and some of the got so enthusiastic about it that kept training and attended already international races like European or World Championships.
The brain of this idea, Mr. Karl Posch, is as well the President of ASKIMO, the Austrian Federation. The project is co-organized by ASKIMO, SSA and DAV with the support of skimo.org. Two main sponsor make all this possible: Dynafit and Pieps.
