Specific material for vertical races? The brands are already working...

Still it's beeing discussed if Vertical Races are real skimountaineering races or not, but the producers don't loose their time. We have already on the market a 650g light ski (Merelli), Dynastar is working as well in a "vertical race"-version of the Pierramenta Pro (prototype by now only), and Scarpa surprised us in Bromio during the World Cup with a new F1-Crono, only 413g weight! Still a prototype only... but an interesting boot... may be improved using carbon?...
