Today Germany won his first gold medal. Unfortunately the German Team was not in a mood to fully celebrate this medal: on Wednesday the 20 years old athlete Michale Pfanzelt died in an avalanche. His body was found on Thursday and today is the funeral.
Michael Pfanzelt was part of the German National team, participated several races, as well as on the Youth Camps in Praxmar. All the skimo.org team and skimountaineering comunity send our deepest sympathies the his family and friends.
